Speciality cheese supplier Futura Foods extends it offering

Futura Foods a supplier of speciality cheeses, including Greek and Cypriot, has extended its offering making it available to small and independent retailers and caterers.

Futura Foods is now able to deliver mixed pallets of cheeses from Italy, Germany, Denmark, Greece, Cyprus and Spain to the independent market in much smaller quantities.

John Steele, national account controller at Futura Foods, said: "For independent caterers and wholesalers it is difficult to find speciality cheeses that can be purchased as part of a comprehensive range and delivered on one pallet.

"Small companies need this type of service to be able to offer an affordable yet comprehensive range to their customers. We've already had a lot of interest from customers we've had to turn away in the past, so we're looking forward to sending out our first orders in February."

The cheeses available will include: Grana Padano, Parmigiano-Reggiano, Mozzarella, Halloumi, Feta, Salad cheese, Grilling Cheese, Manchego and Iberico.
