The Farm Frites Nature's Goodness products are an ideal range to stock as part of a healthier eating menu.
In addition Farm Frites want to get the nation skipping as part of a healthy lifestyle offering caterers the opportunity to set up their own ‘Skip to It' day with a special kit available, comprising of:
•5 skipping ropes
•Promotional posters
•Healthy lifestyle fact sheets
Nadia Adrien, commercial director from Farm Frites, says: "The ‘Skip to It' campaign is designed to raise money for the Children's Heart Federation, encourage caterers to provide healthier menu options and get people skipping as a fun way to exercise.
"We hope caterers will be happy to run their own ‘Skip to It' events and generate energy and fun into their outlet. Even with the adverse publicity towards fried foods in general, the chip is still one of the UK's favourite foods and we are happy to provide a healthier range for caterers."
The Natures Goodness range which includes fries, skin-on wedges, mash, luxury mash with omega oils and swede & carrot mash and was the first product range in foodservice to use the FSA's traffic light system with red, amber or green - the Nature's Goodness range, has the green light for three out of the four categories.
