ScaleGuard Pro P1175 anti-scale filters from 3M

New ScaleGuard Pro P1175 filters from 3M reduce scale in high-volume coffee and vending machines at a cost-effective price, ensuring the consistency of the beverages.

Launched in the UK this July, the floor-mounted filters use a disposable, quick-change cartridge that can be changed without switching off the supply.

The fixed bypass version uses an integral filtered and proportional bypass that ensures all water passes through 3M's carbon block filter technology to achieve 6,000 litres of hardness reduction at 180ppm (parts per million). The non-bypass model is suitable for steaming machines.

Also new are the AP2-G filters for mains-fed water coolers which, because they use 53% less plastic, are more compact and cost-effective than their predecessors.
