Rattler Cornish cyder secures Boardmasters sponsorship

Healeys, the makers of Rattler Cornish Cyder, have announced a two-year sponsorship deal with the UK's largest surf and music festival, Boardmasters.

Joe Healey, commercial director at Healeys said: "The festival and the Rattler brand have such a great synergy that a two year partnership makes absolute sense. Last year we sold 65,000 pints of Rattler and with the festival selling an extra 10,000 tickets this year we're predicting that we might even reach 80,000 pints.

"When we launched Rattler 4% at last year's event we had the on-trade and festivals in mind and we've been really pleased with how it's performed."

Boardmasters Festival is the UK's premier surf and music festival taking place from 6 to 10 August 2014. This year's line-up will feature headline acts Snoop Dogg, Bastille and Chase & Status alongside a programme of surfing, skateboarding and BMX competitions.

Joe added: "Rattler 4% will be served across both the Fistral and Watergate Bay sites at Boardmasters whilst the full Rattler range will be on tap at the official Rattler bar at Watergate Bay, Cornwall."

Healeys is based on the family farm at Penhallow, near Perranporth, Cornwall and attracts around 400,000 visitors each year with over 20 acres of orchards.
