Precision announce £250k investment and first A+ refrigerator

Precision Refrigeration has announced a £250,000 investment into its production facilities due to continued growth and the need for further capacity.

The growth and investment coincides with the launch of the company's first A+ fridge in addition to the several A energy rated models already in its commercial refrigeration range.

Precision is also undergoing a continual improvement programme on its range of commercial refrigerators and has improved the energy ratings of some of its models including its first A+ unit. The Precision HSS 150 1 door space saving undercounter is now A+ rated, from an A, the HWU 111 1 door wall counter is now B rated, from a C and the HWU 211 2 door wall counter which is a C rated, from a D.

Nick Williams, managing director of Precision, said: "Thanks to the hard work of all of our staff and partners, we have grown through difficult market conditions and uncertain global times. We have seen our sales increase by 25% year on year over the last 10 years, and we forecast this increase to continue going forward."

"With our continued success and growth ambitions, we are also announcing that we will be recruiting an additional 30% of employees to the factory, to help with the growing demand of our products."

Carl Rudd, engineering manager for Precision, added: "We have invested a lot of time and money in recent years into our factory, testing facilities, and generally improving the way we do things. This latest news, shows our commitment to not only compete, but in time lead the field in commercial refrigeration to offer reliable refrigeration technology at great value to our customers."
