Independent London-based Doghouse Distillery has introduced its own aperitivo, Doppelgänger (20% ABV) to its portfolio. The British take on the popular Italian aperitivo is flavoured with citrus, rosella (hibiscus), mountain roots and herbs.

Independent gin company Wild Fox Distillery has launched what it says is the UK's first oak-aged, dark spiced gin, It's A Rum Do. Wild Fox was founded by fourth-generation dairy farmers Lizzie and Rob Billington, who diversified into artisan gin in 2019. The 42% ABV gin has been aged in oak for a year to create a smooth mouthfeel, with notes of burnt caramel, cinnamon, coconut, honey and vanilla.

Ten Locks has signed a deal to distribute Indian spirit brand Sollasa in the UK. Sollasa is a grain-based, lower alcohol spirit at 20% ABV, made from orange zest, lime, lychee, mint, basil, coriander seeds, cardamom and a pinch of sea salt.

Fresh Fayre, part of the Sysco Speciality Group, has launched Fresh Deli, a new brand that supplies chilled sandwich fillings for caterers. The range also includes hot fillings such as firecracker chilli, hoi sin duck and pulled chilli beef.

Intelligent Appliances has launched the Urban Cultivator, a fully automated indoor kitchen garden. The cultivator automatically controls watering, light, oxygen, temperature, humidity, nutrients and the PH level of the water. The freestanding appliance is available to purchase or lease.
