And because they contain 30% less sodium than the original mix, the granules are suitable for use in schools - as they meet Food Standards Agency target nutrition specifications - as well as pubs, restaurants, workplace canteens and hospitals.

They contain no MSG or hydrogenated vegetable oils and are also low in fat.

Whisking the powder into boiling water creates a smooth, glossy, lump-free gravy that can be used directly or as a base for a signature creation. The instant gravy comes in reusable and resealable 1.75kg plastic tubs that are sold in pairs, yielding a combined 50 litres of gravy.
