London Underground tiles from the Great British Tile Company

Tile design specialist the Great British Tile Company has won the exclusive rights to distribute a range of ceramic tiles that feature the iconic London Underground station and connecting lines images in the UK, USA, Japan and Europe.

The 300mm x 300mm tiles come in 28 designs that include the signs for world-famous stations such as London Bridge, Baker Street, Covent Garden, Green Park, St Pauls, Victoria and Waterloo, along with the original London Underground symbol and a fun "Mind the gap" option.

The company sees special scope for the design in British-themed pubs.

The line includes straight line, corner line and intersection tiles depicting Central, Circle, District, Jubilee, Northern and Victoria lines that could be used during the 2012 Olympics to illustrate the links at Stratford Station and Olympic Village.

The designs are available direct from the company and from a soon-to-be-announced network of distributors.
