Locally-sourced spuds hand-cooked by Pipers Crisps

Lincolnshire-based Pipers hand-cooks its locally sourced potatoes in sunflower oil to make its range of crisps.

Flavours include Anglesey Sea Salt; Biggleswade Sweet Chilli; Sea Salt and Somerset Cider Vinegar and West Country Cheddar and Onion and each variety has its own provenance story.

For example, sea water from the Menai Straits at Brynsiencyn on Anglesey passes naturally through a mussel bed and sandbank before being filtered through charcoal to crystallise in shallow tanks and is then used to make the Anglesey Sea Salt Flavour.

The Biggleswade Sweet Chilli flavour is produced using Firilla and Cayenne chillies produced by Sicilian Filippo Genovese in his greenhouse in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. Pipers Crisps are available in boxes of 40 x 50g packets and boxes of 15 x 150g packets.
