Lassi drinks for food service from Highgrove

Lassi - the healthful yet indulgent fruit yogurt drink developed under the ancient Indian health system of Ayurveda - is set to move into the food service sector through Wiltshire-based Highgrove Food Distribution, which has won the distribution rights to the Original Bombay Lassi from Giacomo's.
The premium ready-to-go chilled drink is made from live whole milk blended with fruits to authentic Indian recipes to make a refreshing, digestive-aiding liquid that is free from artificial colourings, preservatives and flavourings.
It comes in three flavours - Mango, Green Tea with Lime, and Pineapple and Coconut - supplied in 250ml containers sold six to the pack. The lassi has a minimum shelf life of 21 days.
