Jumbo rice cooker from Apuro

A jumbo 6.3-litre rice cooker has joined the Apuro line-up ready to cater for soaring demand for rice as the Chinese New Year welcomes in the Year of the Ox next month.
The fully automatic 1,500W cooker can produce 35 portions of rice in just 12 minutes. Its simple one-touch cook-and-hold operation means that there is no need to stir or strain.
The black enamel cooker uses a bottom- and side-heating system to ensure even cooking and is supplied with a non-stick removable bowl, spatula and measure.
Apuro also sells smaller 1,300W, 4.2-litre models in stainless steel or black enamel, which, like the newcomer, carry a one-year parts and labour warranty.
