This spring will see Aryzta Food Solutions' chef ambassador James Tanner reveal a signature chocolate dessert in partnership with chocolate manufacturer Callebaut.
The new product, created using elements from Aryzta's semi-prepared range and Callebaut origin chocolate, is set to debut nationwide mid-way through 2017.
The details are being kept under wraps but will bring something new to the menus of higher-end catering establishments across foodservice, according to Aryzta brand and communications manager UK, Paul Whitely.
"It has been fantastic to take someone for whom the professional kitchen is a second home and bring them into a manufacturing and product development environment, such as ours and that of the Callebaut team."
Tanner said: "I'm delighted to yet again be working with the Aryzta team, this time focusing on the business of product development and being able to experience first-hand the thrill of taking something from concept to creation. To be partnering with a heritage brand such as Callebaut and working closely with their artisan chocolatiers is also a fantastic honour."
Robert Harrison, sales director gourmet-Northern Europe at Callebaut, added: "We're extremely proud to be a part of this exciting product development project. We're looking forward to seeing the finished product on menus over the coming months."
