iTradeNetwork replace barbox.com with bespoke individual supplier websites

iTradeNetwork, the owners and operators of barbox.com, an online ordering site for hospitality, has released details of work with each supplier featured on barbox.com, including Molson Coors in order to create them with their own individual online ordering websites prior to the closure of barbox.com at the end of April.

The work of migrating customers over to the new websites has already begun and in the coming weeks all customers will be sent information about how to continue ordering from their chosen supplier.

Using its cloud-based, e-commerce platform, ‘Supplier Storefront', each suppliers' website will be tailored to their own distinct brands and product ranges and will include new functionality, such as a dynamic promotions tool.

Alex Walters, European sales director of iTradeNetwork, explained: "As online ordering has become the norm for more hospitality operators the expectation of what an e-commerce website should offer in terms of design and functionality has been significantly raised. iTradeNetwork have been working in the food and drink industry for many years and have created the ‘Storefronts' platform to be the leading solution for suppliers and wholesalers who want to offer their customers the highest levels of customer experience.

Paul Machin-Davis, trade marketing manager for Molson Coors, said: "The evolution and development of molsoncoorsdirect.com with iTradeNetwork ensures our website is the perfect platform for our busy On Trade customers to place orders. Molsoncoorsdirect is simple, convenient and has approximately 2,000 drinks available on the site along with monthly exclusive promotions and is an ideal one stop shop for all our customers drinks needs."
