Ice-cream research from Kerrymaid Angelito
Independent research commissioned by Kerrymaid Angelito shows there is a significant opportunity for operators who do not yet serve ice-cream to make money from the dessert, with 59% of consumers saying they would buy ice-cream sundaes if they were more readily available. Ice-cream sundaes were identified by 46% of consumers as an impulse purchase, with tasty photography cited as a key driver in achieving spontaneous sales.
