Guest Supply announces new structure and updated name

Amenities, bed and bath linens, small appliances and room accessories supplier Guest Supply (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Sysco Corporation) has announced a restructuring of its company, including an updated name, Guest Worldwide.

The new operating structure will create three distinct business units under the parent company which are:
Gilchrist & Soames
Manchester Mills - a leading textile producer, with a blend expertise and manufacturing flexibility,
•and Guest Supply - serving the world's top hotel chains and independent properties in more than 100 countries as a full-spectrum distribution solution provider.

"Guest Worldwide is a global collective of dynamic, industry-leading companies with more than 40 years of unparalleled experience serving the unique needs of markets in every corner of the world," said Paul Xenis, president and chief operating officer of Guest Worldwide.

Sandy Romoser, executive vice president, Guest Worldwide, added, "As the industry landscape evolves, we are optimising our business model and creating a more focused and agile organisation to better meet changing customer needs and drive future growth. Operating as a complementary portfolio of businesses will enable us to focus on our customers' unique needs and drive innovation across each business segment, while also leveraging a shared services model to create efficiencies."

Xenis and Romoser will continue to lead the Guest Supply business unit, in conjunction with the responsibilities associated with their Guest Worldwide roles.

Reporting to Romoser, Elizabeth McNulty and Roys Laux will be leading Manchester Mills and Gilchrist & Soames respectively, and will have responsibility for growing the global manufacturing business units.
