Free turkey and spice cases from Bernard Matthews and Schwartz for Chef

Bernard Matthews Foodservice and Schwartz for Chef have teamed up to show school caterers the versatility of British turkey as a substitute meat in a host of global dishes.

The two companies are giving away a selection of products that will make a lunchtime's worth of Turkey Fiesta Fajitas or Bollywood Turkey Curry. Both dishes are based on a new set of recipe cards developed by Bernard Matthews for its Big Green Tick (BGT) line of British turkey products developed for the education sector.

The BGT line of fully traceable British turkey is free from artificial colours, flavours, preservatives and hydrogenated vegetable oils. Used in place of beef, pork or lamb, it can significantly reduce saturated fat levels and works with Schwartz for Chef recipe mixes - which are high in iron and low in salt - to meet food and nutritional guidelines for school meals.

The first reader drawn can choose five cases of ingredients for either the fajitas, using BGT Roast Turkey Breast Chunks and Schwartz for Chef Tex Mex Recipe Mix, or the curry, using BGT Diced Turkey Thigh and Schwartz for Chef Indian Curry Mix.
