Foster announces continuation of contract to supply Government Procurement Services

After 36 years as a Government supplier, Foster Refrigerator has announced another two-year extension to its Government Procurement Service framework contract to supply refrigeration products to the public sector.

Paul Veried, vice president, refrigeration & weigh Europe, said: "We believe that we build the perfect product range for the public sector.

"Many factors are crucial in this sector, and while exceptional working performance is a pre-requisite, it is the combination of value-for-money products with the lowest running costs in the market, that makes Foster Refrigerator an ideal partner for the public sector. We are proud to continue that relationship".

Foster Refrigerator was the first manufacturer in the sector to produce a CSR report and also the first to achieve the Carbon Trust Standard, achieving re-certification in 2012. Numerous Foster products are available on the ECA scheme, led by the recently launched EcoPro G2 range which was launched to universal praise and which sets a completely new standard for energy-efficiency.
