Expanded prawn options from 3G

An expanded range of frozen prawns is on offer from 3G Food Service, which has also upgraded the prawn section in its newest product guide to steer caterers through the sheer variety of warm and cold water prawns available.
New to the list are Whole Raw Black Tiger Prawns, which are sold in 1kg packs, Cooked and Peeled Large Luxury Prawns, Whole Cooked North Atlantic Prawns, Whole Cooked King Prawns (Crevettes), and Raw, Peeled and Deveined Black Tiger Prawns.
Because some suppliers add excessive glaze - which is supposed to prevent damage during transit, but can simply add weight - 3G declares both gross and net weights and price per prawn.
