Five new meats from Italy, Poland and Germany have joined the counter at Brakes.
There are two representatives from Italy, which are precut into 80g slices: Sliced Italian Mortadella is a speciality pork sausage cooked in spices and wine and sold in packs of 8 x 7 slices, while Sliced Italian Bresaola is a delicate, dark red, dry-cured beef from the Vattelina region of northern Italy that comes in packs of 8 x 10 slices.
The German duo are Brakes Sliced German Salami, a dry-cured sausage supplied in cases with eight packs of 10 x 100g slices, and Brakes Sliced Black Forest Ham, an intensely flavoured, dry-cured German ham that has been smoked over Black Forest firwood, garlic, juniper, coriander and black pepper. This is sold in packs of 10 x 7 slices at 80g each.
The Polish entry is Brakes Polish Kabanos Sausage, a dry-cured, cooked Polish pork sausage available in packs of 6 x 125g.
