Energy-saving washer's from Hobart UK

So confident is Hobart of the energy- and water-saving capabilities of its FXP under-counter dishwasher that it has posted a calculator on its website to help operators work out how much money they could save if they switched from their current models.

The washer's Ecotherm heating technology uses just 0.8kW of energy to maintain the consistent 63ºC required to get the best performance from detergent, which Hobart claims can save operators £500 a year in running costs and reduce their CO2 emissions by 1,250kg.

The Accurinse low-volume rinse system (which uses just 2.5 litres of water per cycle) combined with the low-capacity 10.8-litre tank is said to slash operating costs by up to 30% and the four-stage Intensiv 4 wash process is claimed to remove more food debris from the wash water and reduce detergent use by 40%.
