EFCEM Europe Without Frontiers Conference to take place in June

The Europe Without Frontiers conference, organised by the European Federation of Catering Equipment Manufacturers (EFCEM) will take place on 26 June at the Marriott Hotel, County Hall, London.

The host for the event is the Catering Equipment Suppliers Association (CESA) and the conference will look at trade barriers, the economic outlook and European legislation and regulation. It will also discuss carbon and energy reduction.

Presentations will cover China, both as a threat and an opportunity, and the issue of closing the trade gap between Europe and the USA, India and Asia.

Nick Oryino, chair of CESA, said: "With London hosting the 2013 event, this is an exceptional opportunity for UK operators and suppliers to meet with their international peers.

"The EFCEM conference annually attracts VIPs from across Europe and from every sector of the foodservice industry."
