Eco-friendly blast chillers from Gram
The eco-friendly range of Gram refrigeration products includes two blast chillers that make use of the Intelligent Food Recognition system (the KPS 20 C and KPS 40 C), a unit for 1/1 gastronorm oven trolleys that is compatible with Rational type CPC 201 and Hounö type 1.16 and 1.20 combi-ovens (the KPS 90) and the six-function KP500 CXH Quick Chiller, which will refrigerate, freeze, quick-chill, quick-freeze, thaw and dry-cool.
The KPS 20 and 40 models will support five or 10 1/1 gastronorm trays respectively and can chill 20kg or 42kg of food to HACCP requirements. The stainless-steel units are supplied with integral condensate trays and three-year parts and labour guarantees.
The KPS 90 (pictured) has a chilling capacity of 90kg, while the Quick Chiller can chill 45kg from 70°C to 8°C in four hours and 13kg from 70°C to 3°C in 90 minutes. The Quick Chiller can also thaw 22kg of food from -18°C to 6°C in 12 hours.
