"It's the first time I've entered a competition like this, so I felt inspired to create something different," commented Thompson. "I decided to use Hellmann's Citrus Vinaigrette to create a delicious dessert. The product is simply fantastic - it's so versatile and adds real 'wow' factor to dishes."

Thompson wins a trip to New York while his recipe will be highlighted in Hellmann's new online interactive magazine, [Best Dressed](http://www.hellmanndressingsforchefs.co.uk).

Hellmann's sophisticated line of two-phase vinaigrettes, launched last year, also offers Balsamic, Basil, Raspberry and Sesame Soy flavours.
