Deer and game larders developed by Williams Refrigeration for the Foresty Commission are now available to the wider market. The coldrooms can be tailor-made to store between four and 50 hanging deer carcasses (or game birds) in hygienic conditions and can be built as static or movable units. The modular steel units are insulated with coldroom panels and incorporate a preparation area, stainless-steel sinks, hydraulic rails on which to hang the carcasses, a sealed floor with built-in hose and drain gulleys, and a condensing unit to maintain the correct temperature.
