The premium range of table cutlery that family-owned Salvinelli of Lumezzani in Lombardia has been supplying to hotel and restaurants in Italy and the USA for the past 50 years is now available in the UK exclusively through online supplier Cutlerytraders. The cutlery is made from premium-quality stainless steel and is polished to a mirror finish. Each item is sold a dozen to the pack.

The 10-strong Avisio range, where the handles taper to a teardrop shape, includes table, dessert and fish knives and forks along with dessert, tea, serving and table spoons with quoted prices ranging from £18.21 to £55.75. Other 10-strong ranges are the curve-contoured Bozzente (priced from £21.90 to £66.90 per 12pack) and Sermenza (£25.59-£76.10). Lambro, a round-handled design with bevelling, adds a steak/pizza knife to the mix and sets cost from £21.90 to £66.96.

The biggest collection is the smooth-lined, 15-strong Maggia, which offers forged or hollow-handled table and dessert knives, soup spoons, steak/pizza knives and long-handled ice-cream or drink spoons. Maggia pieces are priced from £26.90 to £106.95 per pack.
