CST winning worldwide contracts with Jamie's Italian

Call Systems Technology (CST) has announced further new contracts to supply Jamie's Italian franchises in Stockholm (pictured), Moscow, Hong Kong, Adelaide, São Paulo and Bali with its QSR automation systems across both front and back-of-house.

Having recently completed the contract at the fifth and largest Jamie's Italian site in Brisbane, Australia, the QSR automation system, ConnectSmart Kitchen (CSK), has been specified to help reduce order wait times, display orders and automatically allocate each section of an order to the correct chef to ensure each meal is hot, freshly prepared and completed at the same time.

QSR's ConnectSmart Hostess (CSH) will also be used to take control of front-of-house, providing seating and waiting-list management to allow staff to increase table turns, raise customer satisfaction and improve sales.

Ulrika Garbrant, vice president food & beverage for the Nordic Hotel chain, Scandic, who joined forces with Jamie Oliver to open the region's first Jamie's Italian at Scandic Anglais in central Stockholm, said: "CST were our natural choice to partner with us on our first franchise with Jamie Oliver. We have 195 covers in the restaurant and a further 82 seats in the bar.

"In the kitchen we have four stations covering antipasti, pasta, fish and grill. CST's QSR technology is extremely clever and we required clever technology that could effortlessly manage the quality, consistency and service standards back of house, whilst ensuring front-of-house ran like a well-oiled machine and our customers received the very best experience from the moment they walked through the door."
