Counter-top contact grills from BKI Europe

Quick-service restaurants and food-to-go outlets are the target buyers of BKI Europe's line of counter-top contact grills, which are designed to grill high volumes of paninis, toasted sandwiches, burgers, kebabs and steaks. All offer heavy-duty stainless-steel bases, cast-iron cooking plates in 360mm or 350mm widths, a manual timer and removable side utensil shelves.

Thermostatic control of the heating elements up to 300°C rapidly seals the food and locks in the juices to improve flavour and reduce shrinkage.

Options include grooved or smooth grilling surfaces and the choice of one or two adjustable, spring-counterbalanced upper plates, with some models offering independent temperature control of the upper and lower cooking plates. A detachable two-position front drip tray, a brush kit and a scraper are also offered as optional extras.
