Computerised cocktail server from Giles & Posner

The computer-based serving and fob technology used in Giles & Posner's Automatic Cocktail Bartender is said to save on the time and costs of serving cocktails and to reduce losses (typically 20-40%) from over-dosage, billing mistakes and staff fraud.

The system can dispense as many as 200 cocktails an hour (just 2-10 seconds per drink) and is capable of mixing 32 different juices, syrups, spirits and creams to make hundreds of alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks, selected from a touch-screen display based on the customer's own list or G&P's range, with monthly updates an option.

Each ingredient has its own outlet line leading to the pouring head, which will dispense the exact measure - as defined by the caterer - of each ingredient, to reduce time and wastage.

The control system integrates with most point of sale payment systems and will keep track of staff usage, as each bartender is given his or her own key fob linked to the system and tills.

Juices and spirits are available in 10-litre bag-in-boxes, while syrups come in five-litre versions.
