Compass UK & Ireland announce exceptional suppliers

Compass Group UK & Ireland have announced the results of their exceptional suppliers at its 2014 Supplier Conference Awards held at Twickenham Stadium last month.

The awards and gala dinner, hosted by James Corden, celebrated Compass' supplier partnerships and provided an opportunity for Compass to acknowledge and reward the outstanding contribution its suppliers make to its business.

The winners of the eight categories were: Supporting Business Growth Award, UCC Coffee; Innovation Award, The Bridge Valley Group; Implementation Award, Ecolab; Corporate Responsibility Award, Unilever; Supply Chain Award, Life Water; New Supplier of the Year Award, IMS of Smithfield; Sector Supplier of the Year, Moët Hennessey and Overall Supplier of the Year went to Ecolab (pictured).

Oliver Cock, commercial director, Compass Group UK & Ireland commented: "Developing long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships with our suppliers is central to our long-term strategy as a business.

This conference is a great way to share our plans and goals with our supplier partners and importantly, also recognise their success. We work with an amazing array of suppliers and this year's winners went above and beyond to provide outstanding service and products to us across a range of categories. A big congratulations to all the winners."
