Charnwood Training Group secures exclusive contract to deliver new courses

Charnwood Training Group has secured an exclusive contract with e-learning providers, Flow Hospitality, to offer industry relevant e-learning products to enhance current qualifications and ensure learners get the most from their programmes.

Charnwood can now offer 15 new courses for e-learners including: customer service, working in a kitchen, table waiting, coffee service, working with cask ale and licensing and social responsibility.

These courses which have been designed by Flow hospitality with the help of hospitality professionals with over 30 years' experience in the industry, offer distinct advantages for employers, providing an alternative to "face-to-face" learning solutions and can be tailored to suit any establishment, from independent operators to large multi-nationals.

The flexible format of the courses allows offers busy staff to combine training with their career.

Jeremy Scorer, managing partner at Charnwood, explained: "Our customers have been asking for ways to enhance our current programmes of learning to accommodate their business needs and the two critical business factors are flexibility and minimal disruption to the everyday operational requirements of running a pub, bar or hotel.

The plan is to make the e-learning courses available for all, as an additional learning resource at the appropriate stage of each learner journey throughout traineeships, apprenticeships and pre-employment training. We're confident that these courses will provide the added value element our customers have been waiting for and will also aid product knowledge and customer service levels within their business."
