Cavit 2007 vintage from Meridian Wines

Cavit's 2007 Terrazze della Luna IGT Novello (abv 12%) is traditionally the first wine of the vintage, released at the beginning of November and just one month after harvest.
According to Cavit, the combination of a hot April, rain in June and July, and warmer weather at the end of the summer, has resulted in one of the best wines produced this decade.
Cavit uses 100% Teroldego tough-skinned grapes from the Campo Rotaliano area, which remain intact during the carbonic maceration to give a fresh and fruity palate.
