Bunzl's all-blue first aid kits up for grabs

The Masterchef All Blue First Aid Kit from Bunzl Lockhart Catering Equipment is the first and only completely blue first-aid kit for the hospitality sector.

It can help deal with injuries among hotel and restaurant staff and provide a due diligence defence against prosecution for food contamination. Last year hospitality staff suffered 4,300 injuries that involved an absence from work of three or more days, 4% more than in 2008.

The kit, which complies with current HSE legislation, code of practice and guidance, contains pure blue plasters, bandages, dressings, gloves and wipes in an all-blue box available for 10, 20 or 50 people.

The 10-person box contains: a guidance leaflet, 20 sterile adhesive plasters, two eye-pad dressings, four triangular bandanges, four medium HSE 12cm dressings, two large HSE 18cm dressings, six moist cleaning wipes, one pair of disposable gloves and six safety pins.
