Details This British addition to the Stewed! line-up of international dishes was devised by Robert Smith from Kent for his 10-year-old son. It won a Stewed! competition to find the "ultimate British stew" for its rich, deep flavour and its generous amounts of hearty root vegetables.
Ingredients Slow-cooked British beef in a rich gravy of gluten-free Dorset ale with carrot, swede, parsnip and tomato.
How supplied 4 x 1.3kg catering trays, from January. Also sold as single-serve, microwaveable 325g retail pots.
