Bestway Batleys launches new brand Bestway Batleys Foodservice

Bestway Batleys, the well-known retail wholesaler has announced its new brand Bestway Batleys Foodservice.

From the 1 September its delivered food and drink offering will be available through 17 specialist depots across the UK to the foodservice sector.

The new approach - Simpler. Better - will offer foodservice customers access to fresh produce, meat, soft drinks and snacks in addition to a complete alcohol solution through its Drinks Express division.

Martin Race, operations director for Batleys, with responsibility for foodservice development, said: "The Bestway Batleys Group takes great pride in its heritage and experience that has been cultivated and developed over the years and we are really excited to launch this new proposition to the foodservice market.

"We have developed a service for caterers and foodservice operators which gives them access to a comprehensive range of top-quality products and services which are competitively priced. Our new model is reinforced by a strong and dedicated national field sales, contract sales and central telesales teams, enabling our products to reach the hearts of kitchens across the UK via a timely and efficient infrastructure.

A new website www.bbfoodservice.co.uk and online ordering system has also been unveiled as part of the launch and designed with foodservice sectors in mind, including: pubs and bars, hotels, restaurants, cafes and sandwich shops, mobile and event catering and healthcare.
