Beer Hawk raises £100,000 through beer sales for Hospitality Action

Online beer supplier Beer Hawk has announced that its Save the Pub Campaign has raised more than £100,000 in support of the industry's benevolent charity Hospitality Action.

The Save the Pub Campaign in association with Master of Malt, launched in March with the support of the Budweiser Brewing Group. During the campaign Beer Hawk and Master of Malt have donated £1 for every order placed on their websites.

The £102,000 raised through Beer Hawk's website will go towards helping industry colleagues. Hospitality Action have been administering the fund and ensuring that the grants are given to those in greatest need.

Alex Nelson, managing director at Beer Hawk, said: "The world has gone through incredible disruption due to Covid-19 and the hospitality industry is one of many industries that have been hit hard. We are thrilled to have raised over £100,000 and able to do our bit to help the most vulnerable in the hospitality industry.

"We would like to say a huge thank you to our customers and staff for helping us to raise such an incredible amount of money. We are extremely grateful."
