Aviko launches cash-and-carry packs for jacket potatoes and potato gratins

Aviko has launched cash-and-carry packs of its jacket potatoes and potato gratins.
The chilled jacket potatoes are fully cooked and ready to heat, top and serve with no need for lengthy cooking times or a potato oven. They are vacuum-packed in fours have a chilled shelf life of up to 12 weeks. Heating is by oven for 25 minutes, combi-steamer for 15 minutes or microwave for four minutes.
The individual, fully cooked, frozen potato gratins consist of steamed potato slices combined with a creamy sauce and Emmental cheese. Available in 8 x 100g packs, they can be cooked in the oven for 30 minutes or in a combi-steamer for 12 minutes and have a frozen shelf life of up to 18 months
