Authentic Food Company founder wins achievement accolade

Kamal Basran, founder of the http://www.bfff.co.uk/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">Authentic Food Company,](http://www.theauthenticfoodcompany.com) has been named Entrepreneur of the Year in the annual [Asian Women of Achievement ](http://awa.realbusiness.co.uk/)awards.
The £33m-a-year turnover company has been selling ethnic ready meals and snacks to pubs, hotels and restaurants since it was established in 1985.
The group recently won a [British Frozen Food FederationCraft Guild of Chefs Awards.
