The new Salvis Salamander Vitesse allows chefs to work from all sides, and one of the four models is also height-adjustable. The compact modular units can be table-top, wall- or ceiling-mounted, have room in the base for gastronorm sheets and grids, and offer the choice of either inexpensive tubular heating elements or the speedier HiLight versions.
The entry-level Vitesse Basic provides single-switch operation for all functions - left, right or full power and hotplate. The Vitesse Standard adds a mechanical timer for up to 15 minutes, while the Vitesse Standard Plus, with electronic program control, replaces this with an electronic timer up to 99 minutes. The top-of-the-range Vitesse Max combines all the features of the Standard Plus along with an automatic raising and lowering facility.
