All-British chips from McCain

The UK's biggest single customer for British potatoes, McCain Foods, now makes all its branded chips for the food service market from British spuds, allowing caterers to ensure menu provenance and support native growers.
The group, which works with more than 300 farmers in the UK and supports the Assured Produce Scheme, owns a British potato seed business to maintain control of the potatoes from seed to harvest.
Products bearing the new 100% British Potatoes stamp include the Classics range of Thin, Medium, Thick, Beefeater and Crinklecut fries, the Signatures line-up of Gourmet Chips, Rustic Chips and Brewers Ridges, and the low-fat Delights Thick Cut chips and 5% Fat Oven Chips.
