Adande awarded FCSI Manufacturer of the Year title

05 May 2010

Lowestoft-based Adande Refrigeration was awarded the title of Manufacturer of the Year 2010 by the Foodservice Consultants Society International (FCSI) at the organisation's Worldwide Conference held in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /?>

Minneapolis last month. The award recognizes corporate members of FCSI who have "demonstrated exceptional innovation in product research, design, and development" and "for best satisfying the foodservice industry's needs and contributing to the overall effectiveness in the areas of safety, operation and/or efficiency in customer service." Invented by refrigeration and air conditioning engineer Ian Wood, Adande managing director, to address the problem of cold air ‘falling out' of a refrigerated cabinet when the door or drawer is opened, Adande technology ensures the cold air is held inside the drawer maintaining temperatures at the required level and reducing energy use.
