23 new wedges from Brakes
No fewer than 23 Continental and English cheese wedges from top creameries have joined the Brakes line-up. Although sized and cut for a presentation cheeseboard (with sizes from 100g to 200g), they are also said to be easier to cut, slice and dice than larger blocks.
The new line-up includes 12 British cheeses (in time for British Cheese Week, running 17 October), which include Green's of Glastonbury Organic Farmhouse Cheddar, Organic Somerset Brie, Applewood, Taw Valley Red Leicester and Double Gloucester, Reeces Cheshire and Wensleydale, and White Stilton with Apricot.
Among the Continental cheeses are Ripening Brie Pays, Spanish Manchego, Saint Paulin, Smoked Bavarian, Mexicana, Soci‚t‚ Roquefort, Dolcellate and Roule. They are supplied in packs holding from five to 10 wedges.
