2016 Best Brigades finalists revealed
The eight regional finalists in Essential Cuisine's search for the UK's best chef team have been revealed, with a public vote to decide the winner now open.
The final eight have now been tasked with creating a short video to bring their original entry to life and showcase their kitchen camaraderie, togetherness and teamwork.
Voters have until midday on 27 June to choose their favourite brigade.
The winning team will be awarded the 2016 title, £1,000 cash and an exclusive menu development masterclass with a leading UK chef.
The finalists are:

•South West - Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa
•Midlands - The Punchbowl in Lapworth
•North East - Darcy's Brasserie at Mosborough Hall Hotel
•North West & Northern Ireland - Hilton Manchester Deansgate
•Wales - Gemelli
•Scotland -The Torridon
