£150-worth of free Russums pans from AAK Foodservice

AAK Foodservice is offering one lucky Product Zone reader £150-worth of Russums pans to celebrate the recent launch of two new versions of Whirl, a healthier and more convenient substitute for butter made from liquid vegetable oil.

Whirl products have a rich buttery taste but contain much lower levels of saturated fat and cholesterol than butter. They can be used to fry, grill, sauté and roast and as a recipe ingredient. The oils do not need to be refrigerated, clarified or reduced and will not spit, burn or discolour pans.

The new lines include Reduced Salt Whirl, which allow caterers to control the salt levels in dishes without compromising taste, and Garlic Whirl, an alternative to flavoured oils which is claimed to be more cost-effective than adding garlic to butter.

The winner of our reader offer will be able to select from a range of saucepots, crêpe pans and omelette ironware pans and will also receive a selection of Whirl products (all sold in four-litre bottles) to help them get started basting, frying and roasting.
