Restaurant Associates launches level 4 apprenticeship programme with Michel Roux

Restaurant Associates, part of Compass group, has launched Collaborate, a level 4 industry apprenticeship programme, which will enable staff to receive training from the likes of Michel Roux Jr and Steven Groves.

The 18-month course will enable 15 chefs and nine front-of-house professionals to receive personalised coaching from industry experts through various workshops.

Participants will receive specialised sessions on foraging from Ivan Tisdall-Downes and Imogen Davies of Native; three personalised coaching classes from Michel Roux Jr; training in afternoon tea, WSET Level 2 and plant-forward menus; and visits to Restaurant Associates' suppliers, some of whom will be offering sponsorship opportunities.

Sue Thompson, director of business excellence at Restaurant Associates, said: "This phenomenal training opportunity has been long-awaited, and we are thrilled to finally unveil it. Collaborate perfectly embodies our business ethos and employee values. We firmly believe in the future, and this investment in our own talent underscores our unwavering commitment."
