Za Za Bazaar to open second site in Norwich
Za Za Bazaar, the giant buffet restaurant, which launched in Bristol last month, is to open its second site, in Norwich.
The new restaurant, set to launch at the city's Riverside Entertainment Centre, will have a capacity for up to 600 diners. The 25,000sq ft site is currently undergoing a £2.5m redevelopment and will open in the spring.
It will comprise a buffet restaurant concept offering a variety of global cuisine at a fixed price. Overseen by executive chef Nitin Bhatnagar, each kitchen will be dedicated to a different cuisine, ranging from Indian to Chinese, Tex-Mex and European. There will also be dedicated salad and desserts sections. It will be priced at £12.95 during the week and £15.95 at weekends, and customers will be able to order as much food as they want.
Commenting on the Norwich restaurant, Simon Howlett, Za Za Bazaar marketing manager, said: "Local people will be able to enjoy the energy, originality and sheer fun of the Za Za experience for themselves.
"Thirty specialist chefs will run our Norwich restaurant, creating authentic dishes from around the world with something for everyone to enjoy. This will be a remarkable place to relax and celebrate."
Za Za Bazaar is owned by Maricksons, which aims to roll out the concept nationwide with up to six sites planned for the next 12 months.
