Yo! Sushi is expected to announce the acquisition of food-to-go supplier Taiko Foods.

The sushi restaurant chain is expected to announce the takeover of the company, which supplies Waitrose, Pret a Manager, and Costco, The Times reports.

The latest acquisition follows Yo! Sushi's purchase of Canada-based Bento Sushi in November 2017.

Yo! Sushi was founded in 1997 and has 76 UK restaurants. It was purchased by Mayfair Equity Partners in 2015.
