West End's Neo Bistro confirmed ‘closed for good' after departure of Mark Jarvis

Central London restaurant Neo Bistro has closed after consultant chef Mark Jarvis stepped away from the project.

The site launched in 2017 as a joint project between Jarvis and Alex Harper, formerly of the Harwood Arms. A spokesperson for the site said the bistro had been "closed for good".

Jarvis, owner of Anglo in Farringdon and Stem in Mayfair, parted ways with the site after acting as a consultant since its opening. The winner of the Newcomer Award at the 2017 Cateys had previously advised the restaurant on menus and kitchen operations.

The site received critical acclaim upon its launch, including praise from Mariana O'Loughlin and the Evening Standard‘s Fay Maschler, who described it as a "new wave West End smash hit".
