The Fat Duck adds lunch services, months ahead of Australia relocation

Heston Blumenthal's the Fat Duck restaurant in Bray, Berkshire, has added additional lunch services before its six-month relocation to Melbourne, Australia in 2015.

The three-Michelin-starred restaurant will open for lunch on three Sundays during December, on the 7th, 14th and 21st, in addition to its usual opening hours from Tuesday to Saturday.

Lunch on Sunday 21 December will be the last service at the Fat Duck in Bray for nine months. Blumenthal will relocate the restaurant to the Crown Tower Resorts in Melbourne, opening on 3 February 2015.

The Fat Duck will celebrate its 20th anniversary in August 2015 in Melbourne. Meanwhile, the restaurant in Bray, located within a Grade-II listed building built in 1640, will undergo a renovation and modernisation.

The Fat Duck will return home to Bray in September 2015, reopening with a new kitchen.
