TGI Friday's to create 90 jobs at new Bristol site

T.G.I. Friday's is set to open a new restaurant in Bristol's Cabot Circus shopping centre in June 2013.

The company said the move would create 90 jobs and would be able to serve 270 guests at one time.

The restaurant will feature a square ‘island' bar area where bartenders will be able to shake and serve over 500 different cocktails, as well as an open kitchen.

David Carroll, T.G.I. Friday's UK director of acquisition and development, said: "We're really happy to be opening our second restaurant in Bristol. Our Cribbs Causeway location has become a firm favourite with those in the city and the time is right to open another thanks to this strong demand.

"It's great to be creating almost 100 new career opportunities for the Bristol community as well as continuing to spread our legendary Friday's experience within the city."

The company is working with youth unemployment charity Springboard and to help those out of work to kickstart a career and is already recruiting for the site. Half of all team members recruited to new Friday's restaurants in the last year were previously unemployed.
