Taylor Bonnyman to open the Five Fields next month

Taylor Bonnyman is to open the Five Fields restaurant in Chelsea next month.

Formerly of the two Michelin-starred Corton in New York, the chef-owner of Five Fields has built a strong team for the 40-seat restaurant, which will serve modern seasonal food.

The team will include head chef Marguerite Keogh (ex-Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley), pastry chef Chris Underwood (previously at Tom Aikens Restaurant), sommelier Nicolas Arthuis (also ex-Tom Aikens) and restaurant manager Matt Widdowson.

Bonnyman intends to serve modern cuisine inspired by rare herbs and vegetables grown at the restaurant's East Sussex gardens. On offer will be a three-course menu at £45 and a £65 nine-course tasting menu.

The restaurant, which occupies the former site of El Blason, will open on 21st May.
